 Five years ago, I had a vision to create handmade soaps, bath and body products with an emphasis on natural ingredients, beautiful designs, and amazing scents inspired by nature for my family and friends.  Though I knew the art of soapmaking, as a child I had made soap with my grandmother, I also knew there was more to learn. I have a chemistry background and started researching, learning, formulating, soaps, lotions, solid shampoo bars, and solid hair conditioners in my kitchen. I gave all my creations to family and friends. Then my friends gave them to their family and friends. I started getting telephone calls to buy my soaps, shampoo bars, and lotions. Diva Mountain Soap and Candle Co. was born. My sister, Kathy, came onboard, and we transformed the top floor of my home into a studio, curing room, and office.  Now we are selling our skincare products online and at local arts & crafts festivals. We continue to test all our products on family and friends before selling them to you. Oh, and the candles came about because of my daughter, Nicole. She bought a candle from a big-box store that turned her ceiling black. I knew how to make candles, but I needed to research different waxes and fragrances. All our candles are tested multiple time for performance and scent throw.  Thanks to people like you, I can continue my passion making natural skincare product with beautiful designs and marvelous scents.
